SERVICE

Geocoding - BITI offers a complete geocoding service where every address you submit will be assigned a census track ID.

Geocoding and Report Preparation - In addition to geocoding your records, BITI produces the Part I.A and Part VI upload files for you to enter into the FCC website. This service replaces the hours of preparation you need to do to put the data into the correct reporting formats.

In addition to the preparation of Part I.A and Part VI, BITI prepares the other report formats if you need to report using these options.

SOFTWARE

BITI has developed standalone software that geocodes your subscriber records and produces the reports and upload files. The software is easy to use and provides you with the tools to prepare your Part I.A reports and Part VI upload files.

Geocoder

The BITI Geocoder will assign the census tract ID in batch mode. The Geocoder will take an Excel, CSV or DBF file as input. Each address is scored with a number indicating how well the address matches US Postal standards. Matches will low scores can be corrected and re-submitted for a better census track assignment. The Geocoder will correct input errors and provide the best possible match to US Postal standards.

The output from the Geocoder can be saved in a variety of formats. The output file is a direct input into the Form 477 Reporter which produces the required Part I.A and Part VI reports.

Form 477 Reporter

This application takes an input file processed by the Geocoder, or any file with the required input fields, and produces the Part I.A reports and Part VI upload files. The input file can include multiple states and the Reporter will determine the correct reports to prepare. The Reporter accepts user defined field names and will map the fields into the required FCC reporting formats.

The Reporter also provides for Defined Service Territory (DST) processing. DST analysis is required for all ILECs, Cable TV, and “study areas”. If a DST is required by the filer, the Reporter uploads the DST definition and incorporates the census tracts into the upload file for census tracks that have no subscribers. This is a required function for Form 477 reporting.

The Part I.A reports prepared by BITI or output from the Reporter are images of the report pages on the FCC reporting website. This makes data entering onto the website go fast and easy. Here are a couple sample reports:
